Hi just a psa. 

Aokigahara Forest is not somewhere to be afraid of. Aokigahara is not a frightening place. It’s a sad place. Movies like The Forest are turning it into a spooktacular, spiritually vengeful, white washing sleigh ride and people are letting that happen.

Aokigahara is not a place to be afraid of. So please don’t be. It’s such a sad, mournful place. It’s a place people go to end their lives. It’s not scary. It’s tragic. 

Like not only does the movie have a white cast but it takes Japan’s heartbreaking suicide rate and turns it into a thrill scare for profit

And it’s absolutely horid
